The 2000 Dodge Viper GTS-R Concept, unveiled at the Detroit
Auto Show, will be one of the most influential concepts released this year.
Anyone lucky enough to be at the show will be held in awe of its new race-inspired
style. While the engine is much the same as those of previous viper's (V10,
8000 cc), the body has been completely redesigned with snake qualities
and racing specifications largely in mind. A reduced height of three and
a half inches and an increased front and rear track are just a few of the
modifications that give this concept car its aggressive look. The black
leather interior and high-end stereo should keep you comfortably occupied
as you hit 60 mph after only 3.8 seconds, then continue to accelerate to
speeds upwards of 200 mph.
